Celia
Celia is a national center for accessible literature and publishing in Finland, working toward equality in reading and learning. Celia produces and distributes literature in accessible formats, such as talking books and braille books, together with public libraries and publishers. Moreover, Celia acts as well as a central library, from where other libraries borrow materials for their print disabled patrons. Celias books are meant for anyone with a print disability. Näkövammaisten liitto ry (The Finnish Federation of the Visually Impaired FFVI)
Näkövammaisten liitto (Finnish Federation of the Visually Impaired – FFVI) is a special service provider with a social element as well as an advocacy organization of blind and partially sighted people. The special services include accessible newspapers and magazines as well as a Daisy player lending service. FFVI is a non-profit organization. Näkövammaisten kirjastoyhdistys (Library Association of the Visually Impaired) promotes reading and interest in literature among visually impaired people, contributes to the development of library services and accessible ICT for persons with visual impairement. Ammattiopisto Live (Live Vocational College)
Ammattiopisto Live (Live Vocational College) focuses on providing vocational education, preparatory and rehabilitative training as well as guidance for students with special needs. The college also serves as a development and service centre for special needs education. The college operates several learning units in the Greater Helsinki Area and the Province of Southern Finland.
