How to become a user
Individual users

Celia's library materials may be borrowed by persons who have difficulty reading printed text due to a disability or an illness. Celia’s users include persons who are partially sighted or blind, as well as those suffering from dyslexia, learning difficulties, developmental disabilities or multiple disabilities, aphasia and muscular disorders, among others.
You can become Celia's user by sending your contact information to Celia by e-mail, post or by calling Celia’s Library Service telephone +358 (0)9 2295 2200.
We also need an authorised statement regarding your print disability, or a document stating that the you are not able to read printed text. The statement can be given by a healthcare professional such as a medical doctor or nurse, or by a special education teacher.
Celia's books may also be borrowed by members of libraries for the print disabled located in other countries. In such cases, an authorised statement is not required, but the other library must confirm that the applicant is eligible.
Organisation as a user

Organisations such as libraries, daycare centers, schools and retirement homes can also become patrons of Celia and benefit from Celia's services. In such cases, the organisation provides Celia's library materials to its own members who suffer from a print disability, and then registers those persons as individual users of Celia Library, or introduces Celia’s services to its own members.
