Books for entrance examinations

Celia can prepare books for entrance examinations for the visually disabled and others who are unable to read printed books due to disability or illness. Persons with reading disabilities can use books already included in the library collections.

Please contact Celia's customer service as soon as you decide to take university entrance exams to allow for sufficient time to produce the books you need. Contact information for customer service:

Celia will then produce a DAISY book of the title you require with the full text in both synthesised voice and electronic text formats.

 

You can listen to the DAISY book by downloading the free AMIS software for your computer. Different language versions of AMIS are available for free download at the International DAISY Consortium's website

 

You can also transfer the audio files to your MP3 player, but this will make browsing and other extended features of DAISY books unavailable.

Preparation of new textbooks in DAISY format takes approximately 2 months.
The finished book will be sent to you on a CD-ROM by post.
